What happens on the first visit?

Do you offer massage?
Yes. Our certified massage therapists work alongside Dr. Fred, for injuries, regular maintenance or simply to relax. Massage therapy.
Do I need chiropractic care?
Chiropractic care addresses small misalignments of the vertebrae in the spine, called subluxations. They can cause two main problems: joints that don’t move properly and wear down over time, and interference with the nerves that carry messages between the brain and the body. Chiropractic is a proactive approach to your health.
Why do I have to come in more than once?
Just as getting stronger at the gym takes regular visits over time, so does correcting subluxations. Muscles and ligaments need retraining so they work properly and you can enjoy your favorite activities.
Why keep coming once I feel better?
Your spine supports your whole body and protects key parts of your nervous system, like the spinal cord and nerve roots. Many patients feel so good after their adjustments that they make chiropractic care part of their routine.
Draft: Two questions from the old FAQ were left out: “Why don't you take my insurance?” (the practice does take most insurance) and “Why does it cost so much?”. The office decides whether they come back (#91).
